For far too long, there were endless barriers to exploring a newspaper&#039;s Web site and in the end, I think that substantially alienated users. 

However, the opportunity still exists for them to hold on to their audiences. One unfortunate blowback from SEO and online media is that syndicated content and the bevy of nameless content sites are slowly being looked upon as unreliable. Articles are often repeated, reworded and dumbed down, leaving actual news sites, under established brands, as the go-to bastion for reliable information. I think that&#039;s an angle news sites should leverage.
