Outdoor Retailer Winter Market is right around the corner. For those of you who have never been, it is the largest outdoor recreation trade show in North America. anything and everything you could ever need or want for hiking, climbing, backpacking, skiing, and any other outdoor activity you can think of that does not require a gun or a two-stroke engine.

Right after that is SIA in Denver. This means two solid weeks of travel for many folks, but there’s no other way to catch up with the entire industry.

If I’m lucky I’ll squeeze in a day of skiing or two between shows.
